Our actions
Whether due to social exclusion, disability or illness, many children do not have the opportunity to learn through contact with the arts.
96% of our beneficiaries do not attend any cultural venues.
We are creating this opportunity by offering them free access to complete artistic and cultural education programmes, which not only open the doors of museums and cultural venues to them, but also enable them to enrich their knowledge and learn about the artistic practice of theatre, plastic arts, singing and dance.
Our programmes' impact
- Reducing social and cultural inequalities
- Fighting school drop-outs
- Encouraging the integration of children with disabilities
- Promoting cohesion and living together
Last year, a 4th grader who benefited from this project had dropped out of school, was having major difficulties and had lost a large part of her self-confidence. As the project progressed, she discovered what she was capable of, that she could help others and that she was good at it. Her school attendance increased enormously as the year went on, and her motivation to work increased exponentially, including in subjects other than those directly affected by the theatre project.
